A nice night ride without the need for lights with Pete, John and Dave. Pete, John and I cycled up from halfway up the road to meet Dave at Pendam where we set off along the conti trail and then up the tricky rutted climb to the right of the first ford.

We then headed down the muddy track to the right where John went for a very amusing swim (yes, a complete swim whilst still attached to his bike) in a very deep, muddy puddle. He had been riding along a narrow strip of muddy bak along the side of the deep puddle, somehow lost his balance and fell straight into it.

Dave, Pete and myself couldn't help but laugh and were unable to do anything to help him.

John was uninjured though, just very wet so after finishing the rocky descent (John also went into another deep puddle a little further on) John changed his clothes as he was pretty cold and we continued on our way, back on to the Conti Trail, and then back along Sidewinder to Syfyddrin and up to Hippity Hop.

From here we did a quick loop of the Pendam Trail before Dave jumped in his van, John rode down the road and Pete and I did the White Fridge Fridge descent.

It was cold and windy out there but the rain held off and we all had a good ride.
